When Jimbo is the head coach somewhere and the buck stops with him, on whom will he blame the play calling? It's been the same with NS, LM and BB. Not only did FSU get worse on offense this year, LSU became more productive without Russell, Bowe or Davis. There is a clear pattern and it doesn't support making Jimbo the head coach here or any top program.

Maybe we're wrong and he turns out to be a great head coach. But he needs to prove it somewhere before he gets a job like this.

You forgot the occasional play action roll-out on first down.

I bet Flo State fans are crossing there fingers that this happens. They're probably just now realizing what we've known for years about Jimbo.

Do I get royalties for this?

I will watch with interest when/if Jimbo ever gets the HC position at a major BCS conference school.

I can say there were MANY times where I sat back in my seat and asked, "What the hell was that Jimbo". And I personally didnt care for Jimbo's "loyalty" to J.Vincent (I suspect there was more to this but thats for another thread).

What else adds to my scepticism is this, he was the OC at Auburn when they went undefeated. He was the OC at LSU when they won the national championship. During those years many a big time program has had coaches come and go with lesser known names than Jimbo Fisher. But still no one wanted him. Where there is smoke there is usually fire.
