Frankly, if Pellini gets the job I'm not going to support the program anymore.

I don't think Pelini would be a bad hire at all. He's as intense as Saban on the field and is extremely emotional BUT off the field he is an awesome genuine guy. Also the guys that played under Bo at LSU would take a bullet for Bo, he always had their back. He'd be all over their arse if they screwed up but also a pat on the back for a good play. There could be a lot worse hires in my opinion.

This. LSU fans get all pissed about what they see of Miles on TV. The hate Bo Pelini because of what they see on TV.

Luckily, those making the decisions have more contact with these coaches than watching them on TV or on the sidelines on Saturday.

Surprised at the anti-Pelini sentiment. He took a struggling Nebraska program to 9-4, 10-4, 10-4 records in 3 seasons. I guess his QB blowup hurt him in fans' eyes more than I thought.

Let's take Miles buyout money and put it towards Sabans buyout

Saban doesn't do buyouts.

Mediocre recruiter, crazy and hasn't really proven anything at Nebraska yet. 4 loss seasons isn't exactly great, even at Nebraska.

My feeling is that he took an upside down Nebraska team and re-built it...I'm not knocking Miles, however, he took a tremendously stacked team and basically had the same records or worse...I believe it is a toss up...i'd be willing to give BoPeep a chance

Not sure. I think Bo is very much respected in the coaching circle and so I think he could find someone good to bring in. His first recruiting job needs to be Frank Wilson and Brick Haley in my opinion.

Nebraska sucked when he got their and he has done a pretty good job. He is not a HR, but he would do fine here.

amazing how many rantards think that this trait necessarily equates to a good coach.

Les has been a recruiting asset.

Pelini is a recruiting liability at HC, imo. His image has taken a big hit.

It's more likely the fact that his team was picked as a preseason favorite to win it all.. and he had 4 losses.

I'd be okay with Bo P.. if Frank Wilson was promoted to assistant HC

that would help, but when you lose the HC, you never know what's going to happen with the staff. Wilson is a recruiting star and other teams would come after him hard.
