Ok, I've been a staunch advocate of not hiring a coordinator. I believe in a proven coach from a big time program. That is obviously the best way to go.

However, Jimbo is getting some major respect. I guess I could learn to live w/ him.

For the record, Rich Rodriguez has been my first choice since last summer. However, I've been told it will be Spurrier.

You really do want to see LSU underachieve?

Jimbo may be a successful coach one day, but he's not our guy this go round.

Hell No To Dumbo..Let's Move Away From The Continued Offensive Predictability.

LSU Is An Established HC Gig..even Old Myth learned that hard lesson heading into yesterday's smart hire.

Get real. I was not overally impressed with his results at Fla. State this year. He does stand out as a coach who is regarded as taking a program like LSU as his first head coaching job. Let him take over for Bowden who only stands on the sidelines these days. The current level of the Florida State program would be a good starting point for ole Jimbo!
