Why would Saban jeopardize becoming CFB all time greatest coach? He wouldn't. If he wins again this year he will once again be the highest paid coach in CFB. With all the freedom he wants as a coach.

I'm so sick of and embarrassed of these Saban to UT and Saban to NFL post by LSU fans. It makes us look like a bunch of whining B!tches that can only hope to win the west by making Bama Sabanless. I want Saban to stay, and I want LSU to win the west again on being stronger.

Saban has had the pick of the litter since 2011. Les felt the OC's in place could fix all. Unfortuntally the philosophy never changed, and neither did the offense. Aranda and Canada brings fresh air to a once dominate team that Miles assisted in creating. Don't think that Saban doesn't regognoze this. Alas..... he is the supreme lord master of Bama, why leave.

John Gruden's name is mentioned too many times on this board for coaching vacancies.

I predict he will not be a candidate for the Jacksonville job.

Does Saban have in his contract to be highest paid coach or is that Stoops again? I know 2 years ago it was Stoops when he signed the new deal.

Harbaugh is at 9M. Saban is at 6.9M. That will probably change by this spring.

That has been the problem all along. He tried the nfl.IMO he did not realize that you are dealing with mature men (true veterans). Whole different business scheme. And as other posters have said the thirty two nfl teams with cap issues find it hard to build the kind of teams they want because the nfl has regulated things so everybody can be pretty even in talent. Exception new england and Belichick. So i do not ever see Sabin in nfl. Of course never say never! Merry Christmas to all!
