I'm hearing Sid with former Redemptorist coaches possibly comming back as assistants. Watch out if that is the case, because life on the North Side will be back!

people are under the misconception that somehow Guy Mistretta built that program..not so, he only rode the wave from what Sid built. Now when it's time to do some real coaching he can't do it. Can't wait to see when one man's trash turns into another man's treasure....

The long term viability of that school will be a question that Sid has to be sure he has answered from the diocese if he is really contemplating a return.

I think the school will be fine. New Adminstration more concerned with academics than giving athletes a free ride. I can't blame them.

LOL I got news for you Bayou, Mistretta is a way better coach than Sid. Yes Sid did "build" that program with recruiting, and yes Mistretta benefitted from that. but as far as the coaching part of it Sid isn't that good. Mistretta can actually coach on the field. The big misconception about Sid is that he is some kind of great football coach. Sid is a politician.

Man, you went to all those games. You must be a be Redemptorist fan. My point was Mistretta is a better football coach than Sid. I never said Mistretta was great or he is the best or whatever, just said he was better than Sid.

I respect your opinion. I actually think both coaches are good at what they do. I wish Mistretta all the best at Dunham. As for Sid who knows if he'll even coach again.

Yeah.. because everyone knows Sid is really reluctant to change schools.. ...Anyway he is just waiting till Catholic builds a stadium at the new Westmoreland shopping center they just bought.

Don't know who will go back with him? You are always commenting on Varnado or making fun of him. Why? did you go to Redemptorist?

You obviously dont know how big that property is.. they now own everything except the ride aid.. yeah for starters it will be for parking only and they will let that strip stay, but that will all change in due time.
