Or are people really serious?

His head coaching resume is less than impressive. I do not want.

Sure, he'll possibly win more than he loses to end the season, but he also has NFL talent at almost every position.

We just got rid of "good enough" because we want great (or different, or modern, or not retarded). Orgeron is possibly good enough (or on the downside, not very good at all), but if he was great, he'd have shown it by now.

It's for real man. The guy changed practice AND the day of the radio show!

You won't find that kind of experience and leadership on the open market.

He'd about have to win out in impressive fashion. I'd sure have no problem giving him an interview, but treat him like any other candidate.

It depends man, if he comes out and completely rejuvenates this team and wins out including beating Bama in this short of time frame he has to be given a chance hell yes. He's at least a great fall back plan if he does this. If nothing happens well of course not even if it's just small changes but the team still looks the same then no. If O comes in and completely changes everything then he has to be on that list on candidates.

Google bill belichick's record at cleveland. Not every coach is at the very top when they first start.

To me, the best case scenario is that he does well enough to serve as bargaining leverage in dealing with a proven, successful head coach.

Being given the keys to a Ferrari and then beating a bunch of Toyotas (whicle losing to a couple of other Ferraris) does not make him head coaching material.

when coach O comes running out of the tunnel with his dick in his hand, you'll understand how serious this is.

If Coach O wins out, we'll likely be national champions.

He'd definitely get the job.

If Coach O wins out and we win the NC, I can't imagine not hiring him.

If not, I'm glad he got to be the HC for awhile.

Unless the team kills if, I doubt he will be at the top of the list.

I'm just wondering if there is any chance we can keep him around with a different coach. I like him, and wish he could stay as a DL coach, but Most likely he is gone next season

I think this move was planned before the season started. The head coach is Coach O (provided he is successful in these 8 games).

The coaching search is for the new OC.

Coach O will be CEO coach Les refused to be.
