Is Miles dragging the process out so all the big time DCs get hired and he can keep Mallory/Peveto?

I was told by people high up in TAF that Miles was strongly urged to make a change at DC. I think he might try to say that he tried to get a DC, but all the guys he wanted got other jobs. If the D plays ok in the bowl game, he can also use that to say things are fixed.

Yeah.. 'cause I am sure he's the kind of guy that enjoyed this season much more than last year!

Oh, hell yes, he just loves going from the SECC and a BCSNC to 7-5 and he's bound and determined to stand on pride and refuse to fix his co-D mistake ... NOT!

Contrary to popular rants, CLM he really does realize he made a big mistake with the co-D debacle - undoubtedly realized it in the midst of the season when he couldn't do much to fix it except try to minimize the damage and keep the team limping along 'til season's end when he could fix it.

He'll fix it right if he wants to remain LSU's HC for a very long time. Ironically, people here on TD prattle on about that very thing, yet bitch and moan because he doesn't make a critical hire right off the bat. Both LSU's high profile CFB program and a large part of his and his family's future is riding on this hire. Taking a little time to get it right is not a bad thing.

There will be a change. It may be one of the guys getting promoted and the other being demoted. With Miles anything can happen. I am optimistic he hits this one out of the park though.

You are correct, Miles was strongly urged to make a change at DC. This is what bothers me is that he didnt think it was necessary to make a change.

However, there is very little information coming out about the DC search. All my sources keep telling me the same thing there is a lot of rumors going around but little movement within the inner workings of LSU.
