He makes 800k at OU

His OU-style offense would be great in the SEC.

Probably would have to pay him about 1.3-1.4M (assuming OU would increase him to at least 1M)

What is the scoop?

Is he accessible?

Will Chicken do a poll for him also?

I like him.

just haven't been given a reason for him to leave OU for the same role at LSU...he is being looked at by Houston...his next gig is most likely a head coaching role.

Money, if we are willing to pay him in the range that we are rumored to be willing to pay Kiffin. Same reason Aranda probably left Wisconsin.

I don't see why he would leave. He's at a power program in a highly visible position, he'll never face a good defense in that league so his stock won't take a hit, OU can up his pay.

You got to believe Oklahoma would match whatever LSU offers. He saved Big Game Bob's job a couple seasons ago.

if that is the only reason, then LSU will just be used to get him a raise at OU. OU can match LSU.

We will never know because our administration doesn't actually perform coaching searches. They make the easy hire and let him pick his buddies.

It's certainly possible he gets the Houston job, but I seem to agree with the idea Houston is looking for a coach that'll stay at UH for awhile

Hopefully he will be a good candidate for our HC job in 2-3 years

Did the tBinder come with an appendix that we can use to look at a flow chart or diagram for questions like these?

We should come away with one of these Houston candidates..
Lane -major - and a wildcard briles who was one but now isn't.
