Statement of the year. We should have all known the minute this was said that this hire was going to be a shite show.
I sure hope when I go to my job interview for the CEO position paying $3mm+ a year that I only have to interview with one person.

That statement is all you need to know. Alleva has proven himself to be a complete amateur in every aspect of this job.
Waiting too long to fire Trent Johnson (actually he didn't fire Johnson) leaving him behind the 8-ball timing wise got us stuck with Jones.
He then fricked up his coup last season.
He then refused to fire Jones after last season, thus setting the program back even further. Jones will eventually have to be fired. Why wait?
He canned Miles mid-season and gave LSU no leverage in a coaching search.
Finally, he refused to "get into a bidding war" for the top coaches in the market, only to get into a bidding war with himself for LSU's DL coach.
He is without question the most inept AD LSU has had in 40 years.
