I tell you what, O better make a hell of a hire if his whole philosophy is predicated on hiring expensive coordinators and have this become an offensive coordinator success factory which he desperately needs to stick as a HC in this league

eh he has ben an OC for 1 year, and Coaches under the last OC.

I don't know if I think he is ready for Full time autonomy liek we are going to give our OC>

Also he isn't a QB coach. He is the WR coach. We NEED a QB coach. A great one.

I like it and if they hire Martin. Then we can move Craig to QB coach?

Go back and watch their game vs Bama. Aren't we trying to find someone who can help us do a little better than that against them? He didn't look up to that challenge in that game.

We need the best offensive mind and the best QB coach we can get

Do you think Tee Martin and Craig are that?

Would be very surprised if he leaves for anything but a HC job. Turned down Tennessee multiple times already and his wife wants to stay in LA.

Didn't he fail against Bama. I think they figured him out early in that game and his offense became ineffective if I'm not mistaken.

I think he would be a good hire anybody else on staff had a history of developing qbs.

Do you know they changed qb's? Probably not because most people on these boards post shut without knowing shite to back it up.

Yep, we are not in a position to take a chance on any up & coming OC- we need an experienced knockout hire!

I don't watch a lot of USC, but I said in a similar thread that I knew they had improved. I'm not saying the guy sucks, but we've all seen that movie before. Our offense improved a lot after Miles was fired. It still wasn't enough vs Bama, and that's the inescapable measuring stick in the SEC West.

Do you think a USC rematch vs Bama with a different would be all that different? Maybe they just lose by 4 or 5 scores this time.
