Petrino v. Herman

Petrino's already wiped the floor with Fisher.

If Herman defeats Petrino, does it clearly establish him as the front runner?

Game's in Houston, and I expect the crowd will be raucous.

So, then, if Houston wins it won't be due to homefield advantage.

If you want Herman you're probably gonna have to hope he loses this game.

Herman should basically be #1 regardless.

I want Louisville to win that game, BTW, so that Houston is not in the playoff picture. That will get us Herman much faster.

A more important date perhaps is Oct. 17. That is when the Big 12 presidents meet to discuss expansion and other issues. It takes 2 out of the 10 league presidents to shoot down any proposal. Okla.has already come out as being against.

Houston is getting shot down. Both Texas Tech and Baylor would be hurt badly by their addition.

This is incorrect. OU President, David Boren, released a statement that they have not taken a stance one way or another yet.

quote:

"I do not know where the speculation came from, but Oklahoma has not taken a position on expansion," Boren said in a statement.

Texas will shoot it down though. They want Herman too.
