chick -- this crap started early last week right after the ole miss game when carr announced his retirement ... by wednesday you could CLEARLY see it was starting to become a distraction .. why do you wait until after all of the distractions plays a role in costing you a game to give the guy more money when he is guy that could have put the distractions to bed last week ??

it's possible everything was in place, but all the speculation and ESPN releasing their story this morning forced LSU to respond. No one person is really at fault, the system is at fault though. Agents, athletic associations, etc., start these discussions in the background way too early in the season..then come the leaks, the speculation, the inside sources, etc.
