If LSU hires Briles...Stidham will follow

Before you look at this post, scoff, roll your eyes, and click out, hear me out.
I know both parties very well and am very close to this situation. Life was shaken May 26th.
I know for a fact that if LSU hires Briles, Stidham is ready to leave MCC Highlander life and hop on a plane to Baton Rouge.
Once more information comes out about the situation, Briles will be cleared and hirable with arguably the best quarterback in the country in his pocket.
I know both parties very well and am very close to this situation. Life was shaken May 26th.

Briles' name has been dragged through the mud so much, even if he is cleared, I don't want him at LSU at all. Would be a huge distraction and PR nightmare.

And what the hell will you do if they do hire Briles? Honestly you have no say at all. You say what you say now, but if he came here and won a Natty you would be all over his sack! Some people on this board need to kick rocks. LSU will hire who they want and they don't need your permission.

The problem with Briles is even if he was clean and it was all Baylors fault nobody will know.
You think Baylor is in a hurry to release any info that would blame them and clear Briles? No way.
To bad Baylor can hide behind being a private school and nobody will know the full story there.

Not me. National Championship or not, he's still a slimy a-hole. And he may be cleared of most of the allegations, but he knew what was going on and didn't do anything to stop it.

Briles would come A LOT cheaper than any of the big names on our wish list. Not sure it's worth the baggage though.

I agree that Baylor is holding on to those reports for dear life. They have yet to give Briles an actual reason why he was fired, hence not wanting to admit incompetence on their part by releasing the report.

It would be amazing if LSU got Briles, he and Petrino are some of the few Saban-esque coaches potentially available (in that if you hire them, you've essentially got a 100% shot at being a powerhouse as long as they stay).
Briles took Baylor (Baylor!) from nothing to persistent national powerhouse, I can't even speculate what he could do with the LSU Tigers (but I know it would be amazing and incredible).
If we want a priest, then we should hire one (I think I know some that are available)
