It'll be someone out of left field for DC. Just sit back and enjoy the ride

The Steele hire might have been the most rage I’ve ever seen round these parts

I certainly hope so! We definitely don't need to bring in a "Chavis"!

Joe McKnight or Landon Collins are probably the biggest meltdowns I can remember.

Aranda was who I wanted LSU to hire before they did.

Canada too, but that sucked.

I see joe Barry’s name mentioned. Why would he want to leave the nfl. He’s only coached in college one year.

There is also a precedent for Orgeron hiring someone he simply feels comfortable with and following it up with a better hire later. I could see him plugging Corey Raymond into the spot for this season and doing something more calculated next year.

I would be shocked if it was someone without connections to Coach O.

And Steele only happened because Alleva hand cuffed Miles with that Miles-Clause that scared off aranda during that search.

Weirdly enough Joey Hindsight didn’t seem to mention that in his SI article

if history with O tells us anything he would prefer to promote someone currently on staff to doing a coach search. I predict Cory Raymond.

That was a great early years melt. Set the bar for all future meltdowns.

Steele being the DC with the best defense against this offense or being a good hire for Auburn was something I never expected.
