If Herman and Aranda really are that close, this doesn't make sense

I don't see Herman fricking over LSU like this if Aranda and him are that good of buddies. I don't know about you guys but I wouldn't do that my buddies

I read a story that they were not buddies. The quote was "We were sorta, kinda roommates for a semester. I slept on his couch on the weekends."
