If anything, last nights blowout should open the eyes of big name coaches

Everyone knew LSU had the talent to blow out subpar opponents. But the fact that coach O did it with 4 days prep, and set an LSU record in total yardage vs an sec opponent, while running 80 something plays? Get out of here baw. Imagine what a truly offensive minded coach could do.

Some chops are being licked and phones will be ringing come Monday morning.

That's my hot take for the day.

The point is LSU hasn't blown people out in quite a while. Miles didn't do that. Blowing out a subpar opponent is what talented teams do. This team is full of talent, I can assure you that much.

I heard all week how good their offense was and how they beat up Delaware State High school 79-0. We beat the $hit out of them

Saban to Texas!

Of course we're going to follow this. Our season is boring as usual.

Missouri also only had 4 days of blind prep because they have no film on an Ensminger-run offense for the last 15 years. Lets not get carried away here

Just the fact that Les Miles is gone is more than enough reason to get carried away.

They knew the offense couldn't change much. They still couldn't defend the toss dive.

And LSU had only 4 days to change their entire playbook and players learn it? How much different was it? They finally were not too worn out to play to their potential for 4 quarters. Missouri was the leading offensive team in the SEC, and our D held them to 7 points from a trick play. Our offense finally sustained drives to rest the D, so they did not bend as much. Do not downplay dominance over any SEC team. Any Saturday, they could beat you. Great win for the Tigers and O.

MO is terrible.
Let's beat a decent opponent before getting giddy.

I'm just happy we skull fricked a bad opponent, TBH

Miss those days
