i think LSU wins 3 out of the next four games

I think we're better than arky, aggie and uforfeit.
if that happens, coach O will have run the "gauntlet" winning 4 our of 5 against top competition and being 6-1 in the games he coached.
at the same time, jimbo and herman are starting to smell, especially herman (aka kissy face). I mean, losing to SMU is pathetic.
LSU admin. are going to have a tough choice. LSU fan base will be divided and at each others throats, as usual.

The quotes are accurate here because I don't think Ole Miss, Arkansas or Florida are actually proving to be "top competition" this season.

Discount Herman for a 19-3 record and 2 recent losses, but pump O based on beating 3 down teams and losing to wyoming. Oh yeah and an overall record of 19-27 INCLUDING his interim gigs. They have the same number of wins yet somehow only Herman's losses matter. Makes total sense and not reactionary at all.

I do not discount Herman; I do question if he will be successful at LSU. I also think Orgeron might be a much different coach than he was at ole miss and he also has great high school connections in Louisiana and can recruit his arse off. if he is surrounded by top flight asst coaches and can keep aranda I think he can be a damn good HC at LSU.
and yes, it is a bit reactionary. we need to let this thing play out. but if he runs the table or barely loses to only one other team and ends up 7-0 or 6-1 I think he deserves a 4 year contract. he's a local boy and i'm pulling for him to succeed.

There we go. The actual reason you want O is right there. I'll take the guy with the same amount of risk and more upside any day of the week. Or go less risk and hire jimbo.

that's a fricking lie. I told you already under what circumstances I would want O. quit twisting my words and making false accusations.
ANY AND ALL coaches will involve risk. yes, I like O's story and the fact he's local, but I think he may be a damn good coach for LSU FOR THE REASONS I EXPLAINED ALREADY.

My point was your reasons don't put O above any other candidates. Nearly all candidates will succeed with excellent DC and OC. Herman can recruit Texas and will have support in LA. Jimbo has top recruiting classes nearly every year.
