Surely there were other teams looking at him, no?
Purdue is looking for a coach. Surely they had contacted him about the job, right?
It's pretty incredible we were able to snatch the coveted Orgeron with seemingly no competition.

perhaps O wasnt taking any other offers because he didnt want to piss someone off and lose out on getting a shot at head coach.

Did you watch the press conference for his announcement as head coach? He had to fight back tears because of the emotion. Everyone in CFB knew he wanted to be at LSU.
