All he needs to do is call his college team mate, one Dave Aranda.

I think the fans generally are OK with the defense, esp considering he had no hand in recruiting players to fit his scheme. Plus they've given up few TDs while being on the field 2/3 of the game.

The question is, UH has a DC. If Herman takes the LSU job, what happens at DC? I'm guessing he would keep Aranda.

Could work for us, or against us. Hopefully for.

He probably just chooses the best DC. With expectations of winning year 1, you can't afford to be stupid due to loyalty

He does? Or you're saying HE COULD know more?

Are you saying Herman keeping Aranda could work against us? I think we've already made the investment tbh.

Aranda does happen to be a very good DC.

No, I meant that Herman and Aranda are buds. Aranda knows how the sausage is made at LSU. I'm sure before Herman accepts a job at LSU, Aranda could tell him anything he wants to know.

On the other hand, we really don't know anything about what Herman's intentions are.

If LSU has made a good impression on Aranda, I would presume he'd share that with Herman. And if he thinks not (maybe because of some TD posters), he may share it with him as well.

As he should with due diligence. They're professionals, they know to cut through the crap from a football standpoint.

college team mate,

This piece of the story is going to be twisted so much, I won't be surprised when people start believing they were married. The truth:

quote:

"He (Aranda) was actually my roommate in college for a semester," Herman said Monday. "Actually, maybe I just slept on his couch a bunch of weeks in a row and that counted as roommates."
