Either to inherit a great team, or start from scratch. Title chances early, or years down the road.

I'm not convinced that they're going to pull the trigger on Charlie yet. I'm saying they shouldn't, I would in their shoes, but all the UT alums I'm talking to seem to think he's getting another year. IDK, I suppose time will tell.

Listen, I agree with what you're saying
But think about your personal life.. If you have the choice between two jobs where you will be pretty happy at both but will be paid a shite ton more at one.. what are you gonna do?
I think we still have a shot at Herman and god damn I want him I just think we have to look at the big picture. If Texas offers him big money he is gonna take it

I get the feeling LSU won't really try to get Herman because they feel he'll end up and Texas and Jimbo is the #1 target
ETA: I hate when I see people saying Texas will pay a lot more than LSU. That's not true. It's not like Texas is gonna pay 15mil/year for a coach.

I have heard them talk about all this young talent, but when you lose to one of the worst teams in college football, you see a team in serious decline. They are looking at their 3rd straight losing season!
