So I am watching gameday and herbstreit just said, "Do not listen to the media leaks. It's smokescreens by agents to get more money." Like I said before I still believe Herman didn't like lsu's offer as far as money goes. And that's why the info was leaked about still being interested in Texas. I have a huge issue believing that they are just going to let Texas walk away with Herman without putting up some type of fight. This is just my opinion.

Herbstriet is right. We only know what agents want us to know. Alleva may need to up his offer to Herman

Either alleva played this like a master or he dropped the ball again

I'm going with the latter

This is why I get furious when I hear people accept orgeron on here and the radio. It gives alleva an easy out.

Herbie definitely is an expert on not knowing.

"Miles to Michigan"

Funny Desmond didn't call him out on that. They had a bit of a feud back in the day over that. Prolly buried the hatchet.

But, didn't Skip say earlier this fall via radio interview that Les was going to take that job before things changed at last minute?

He needs to have a heart to heart with his employer who was reporting Herman to LSU as almost a done deal.

Whether he said that or not, things change every second with agents until ink hits paper. He said miles to Michigan. Did miles end up at Michigan? So he was wrong, no matter how right he was.

Justifying Herbie in that situation is like justifying DALSU last year.

I think people on here and other forums actually repeat stuff they here, and it's good info, but unless you're in the room you have no idea why info is leaked.

Alleva doesn't read the rant, but instead listens to Mark May
