He's probably waiting for somebody to get the Houston job as some of his staff is still there.

Well, Tom Herman can call his own plays. So that's one major difference between him and O. His success isn't largely dependent on a coordinator.

Herman wants both Orlando and applewhite to join him in Austin. Waiting for UH to make a decision.

Nope

zero freaking out cause you would have Tom Herman. Thats why people are upset about the hire at LSU. Lsu hired a HC and still feels like we are searching because it is totally dependent on who coordinators are.

If LSU hypothetically would of hired Herman, Chris Peterson, Jimbo, PJ Fleck, Franklinton(penn st), etc Everyone would be thrilled about the HC. Wouldn't be a constant watch as to the OC

oh, so they know what kind of defense he will run if Orlando get's the Houston job. Because he's a defensive genius, right?

Texas is in the same position as lsu, waiting for coordinators. Applewhite may not go to texas either. I have pretty good info on this one.

Umm, I would guess that UT would a no Applewhite clause in Herman's deal.

On defense, too? And all this time I thought he would have to hire a DC.

A&M fan on the SEC Rants says that "Marvin Wilson, Mannie Netherly, Anthony Hines, Toneil Carter, Camron Horry, Grayson Reed, among others have either cancelled in home visits, or otherwise indicated an fu." - talking about Texas and Herman.

Not sure why Applewhite would go to Texas. He was not exactly treated well when he was there. Can someone help explain this move?

Thats a fact, I live in this state and have many friends who work for TexAgs.....They forgot Levi too.....

Not really sure why Herman's reception there was taken so negatively by the recruits of Texas but Herman is going to struggle to have a top 15 class.

If we got Herman we would probably have the same defensive recruits along with possibly more offensive recruits.

The OC hire would be irrelevant considering he actually locks down one side of the ball and LSU would still have signed Aranda.

So What are you talking about?
