Harbaugh and Saban are maybe the only two coaches that could put this guy in his place.

Major a-hole.

GREAT defensive coordinator though. And a very good recruiter.

Won't be long until he is a HC somewhere, so whoever gets him might only get him for one year. And he likes to move laterally among jobs as well, so who knows with this guy.

The quote used on the Georgia board was "redneck a-hole".

He and Harbaugh would be an interesting dynamic.

I do remember many of the UGA fans completely shitting on FSU fans saying he was a major POS. Funny seeing the tides turn

Not sure how much Pruitt would fit in at Michigan culture of ethics and integrity

-Elite recruiter, relates to young men well mentally

-Abrasive a-hole

-Overrated as an actual coach. Had the fortune to work at powerhouse schools for great HCs and been able to out talent opponents at literally every stop of his career
•Hoover HS, DC for Rush Probst
•Alabama, DB coach for Nick Saban
•Florida State, DC for Jimbo Fisher
•Georgia, DC for Mark Richt

Basically he's very smart about choosing his jobs and Michigan with Jim Harbaugh would be another fine choice where we would continue his current career path.

Can confirm. Him and Probst were like peas in a pod at Hoover when they weren't bedding the same teacher.

If you didn't know their names you would have thought Pruitt was Probst's son. Exact same demeanor in the practice field. Same redneck accent. Probst taught him well.

Pruitt was the DC of Hoover High school on the show Two-A-Days:

So what he did to UGA, under the same head coach that previous had a bad defense, isn't note-worthy?

2012 without Pruitt:

Total Defense – 32nd
Scoring Defense – 18th
Passing Defense – 8th
Rushing Defense – 80th

2013 without Pruitt:

Total Defense - 45th
Scoring Defense – 79th
Passing Defense – 59th
Rushing Defense – 43rd

2014 Pruitt's first year:

Total Defense – 17th
Scoring Defense – 16th
Passing Defense – 5th
Rushing Defense – 63rd

2015 Pruitt's second year:

Total Defense – 8th
Scoring Defense – 9th
Passing Defense – 1st
Rushing Defense – 48th

That jump from 2013 to 2014 in Pruitt's first year was huge. And he continued the trend having one of the best defense's in the country this year.

Grantham was a joke who players didn't respect. Pruitt is a players coach. All he did was get an already very talented defense to try harder for their buddy. You're kidding yourself if you don't think Georgia has one of the most talented front 7s in the country in Pruitt's time there.

Yep I just saw that. Could be a good thing that UM doesn't get him based on what people here are saying about him.

He was coming to Alabama all along, just used UM to make us pay more. Alabama boards have been saying he coming home for two days. Plus, deals have been made with Scott Cochran, and Tosh Lupoi to keep them in Tuscaloosa.
