I know he is an alum there but he seems to have issues with Boone Pickens. Im just throwing this out because i dont believe we get fisher or herman. No doubt the man can coach offense but he scares me on defense. Not really worried about the lack of great recruitng classes at OKst. It is OKst enough said. Miles and Saban did not have great recruiting classes at okst and MSU when they were head coaches there. Plus i believe he knows he will never win a championship there.

I started a thread on this last week and was down voted into oblivion.

I think he'd be a good hire

exactly

you have to question a guy's mental capacity and/or his decision making skills when he decides to grow a mullet

If we're considering Gundy, might as well just give Orgeron the job.

Should fit right in there at LSU. Change that last name to Gundeaux and we got us a coach .

So Ok state doesnt run a wide open Offense? compared to LSU. I'm just saying the man can run an offense with less than stellar athletes. We would score some points.

I've discussed this with friends, and we don't NEED to get an offensive guy as the HC. Just a guy who will hire the right people and let them do their job. What O did Saturday and what Les couldn't do, especially towards the end when he was grasping at straws.

In a choice between Gundy and O, its O all day. We know O can recruit at a high level, so regardless of what how the season plays out you know he will keep bringing in players. A coaching change after 3 years of Gundy could land us in Tennessee territory.

thats true, but gundy has a much higher ceiling as an actual football coach

Do not want Gundy. As has been said, if we're down to Gundy... give me coach O.

have no idea as to why all the down votes, he has improved Okie State since Miles left.. he just doesnt have the athletes, i think he would be a great hire.. Dark horse still is Chad Morris at SMU.. Was the Clemson OC that sparked their way up... Went from Being the head Coach at Lake Travis high in Austin to OC at Clemson.. Think he might have had a stop in Tulsa.. cant remember..
