Not getting my hopes up but this would be about as good as it can get. Homerun in every way. Not only is Fickel an elite defensive minded coach, he'd bring back LSU's nasty tradition of defense that has disappeared since Aranda left. I'd be all for this.

Fickell Kelly or Aranda are the only ones that make sense if Woodward does have his guy as those are realistic but have to wait on CFP.

Everyone assumed it meant Notre Dame. The fact a Cincy site replied and he didn't say something along the lines of I'm not talking about Fickell is telling.
It's known Fickell is a pretty big Catholic apparently.
