The report said Jimbo told 'people close to him' that he's staying.
Nothing about Jimbo saying anything to the players.
Not saying Jimbo is staying/leaving/whatever, just pointing out that he did not tell his players he's staying.
(If he does, that's almost an official 'he not gone.')

LSU fans act like no coach has ever said they are staying at their current job and then left their current job a day later.

The article said he "INTENDS" to stay at FSU. The divorce, the rape scandal shite, the inside officials taking shots at the program have made it too much for Fisher. My source is credible, folks needs to calm down, FSU is in full damage control right now

Yeah thats why my source told me Jeremy Pruitt left out of fear after the Winston debacle that it wouldnt be the end of it and that stuff from the Bowden years would kill the footbl program at FSU, knows Pruitt personally and is involved in AD at another SEC school right? My favorite thing in all this is the folks that are all over the "insiders" on this board for being trolls...

There is at this point tumors and speculation on the Internet. This includes this stuff:
-Miles is being fired
-Jimbo is the choice
- Jimbo is a done deal
- Jimbo deal fell thru
- Miles is being retained
- Miles has told players and assistants he is not coming back
Officially we know this:
-Alleva will not comment on the coaching situation until after the season.
- the buyout for Miles is in the neighborhood of 15 million dollars.
That's it.
Alleva can very simply come out on Sunday or Monday in a press conference with or without Miles and say "I never said Miles was being let go. I don't comment on the head coaches job during the season as a matter of policy. Rumors and media reports aren't facts. Miles is still the coach."
This board will melt down as will others. The media will change their tune and hail it as cooler heads prevailing. Story over.
