It's mainly just a handful of people in meltdown mode. There may be 1 or 2 other threads with them too.

Speculation, speculation, speculation, Miles sucks at clock management, speculation, speculation, nobody with half a brain thinks we still can get Tolbert, speculation, speculation, Crowton eats vomit like oatmeal, speculation, speculation, some things about a godfather.

Is it possible that Crowton is here until the bowl game, then gone. Gonzales promoted to OC, and Tolbert as WR coach after the NFL season? Just a thought.

this would be my best hope. Getting both those coaches would be huge in recruiting. I would also like to see a version of the Spread that was at Utah and Florida come to LSU, so I would like to see Gonzales as the OC not the WR's coach.

Gonzales promoted to OC

this Gainsville Sun article says he was considered for the UF OC this year:
quote:

Gonzales was considered a candidate to replace Dan Mullen as the Gators' offensive coordinator a year ago, but the job went to offensive line coach Steve Addazio.

quote:

Florida wide receivers coach Billy Gonzales is leaving Gainesville to become the passing game coordinator at LSU, according to sources close to both programs.

another last minute mis-management by Miles, I'm sure...

Did you coach with Tolbert? Did you play for him ?
How do you know more than Miles?
Were you a WR in college or hs?
Awaiting your reply!

If one wants to be an OC or head coach in the future it helps your resume to have worked for different coaches.

Simple answer, you know more about flutes and ballet than you do about football. What makes ou such an expert on football coaches? Ever play for one? You mouth off constantly behind the safety of the internet. Do you know Miles?

He was passed over for ballet coordinator because he wore too much pink to the interview. Lucky for him the guy they did hire turned out to be the same guy that is banging him in the arse. He likes being somebody's bitch, and perceives an attack on any coach to be a personal attack on his boy toy.

It's easy to get excited about something new, but I'm not so sure Gonzalez would be right at OC. He was with Meyer for a long time, and Meyer has recently had a couple of opportunities to promote this guy. I'm not saying I believe the "we have to get an experienced OC" line, but I would think Meyer would be a pretty good judge on whether Gonzalez is ready to be an OC.

I think he is a great hire at WR coach, but I'm hoping that's all it is.
