I don't think he ever officially went to USC. He and Lincoln had a gentleman's agreement. Seems like he really didn't want to go with Lincoln, though, especially after spending time with his own guys with Lincoln out of the building.

That was the early rumors and you know how that goes. I'm now seeing $900k. We'll see what becomes fact.
LSU had to "outbid" USC. Cost of living favors LSU obviously.
He made $435k this season at OU.

They definitely have. As I said, OU paid Jamar $435k. Venables just hired a coach (Miguel Chavis), who has never been an on-the-field coach before, for the same role @ $600k per.
