Falcons are interviewing Texans’ OC Bobby Slowik today. They also will be meeting this week with Mike Vrabel and Jim Harbaugh in person, and scheduling other in-person head-coaching interviews as well. Their HC search is said to be “wide open.”

It’s a really attractive job. Ton of weapons on offense. Good defense. Weak division. You are really just a QB away.

Thorough or they have no idea what they’re actually looking for, so just interviewing everyone with a pulse?

Smart, might as well see all the options. Be thorough. Its the most important hire an organization makes

They either know who they want and are just putting lipstick on the pig, or they have no clue what they want. If they don’t know then they’re listening to many voices to help them find out. I don’t see how that’ll work out well for them. There has got to be enough football knowledge around that place to know what they’re looking for in a coach.

The search is being done in large part by a Loomis disciple. Terry Fontenot was in the organization for a long time. Too bad the team wanted continuity and no one wants to admit they’ve failed.

Yea, well no search is complete unless they interview Dennis Allen.

Sorry but Failcons are not a QB away from a SB, not sure if u watched them play this yr, O-Line still can't pass block and defense is still not very good with all the FAs they signed and a new DC

Whoever they get will be better than Dennis Allen.

Why don’t they try to poach DA? If Loomis is to be believed, he’s a future hall of famer.

Still better than the Bears' approach.

"Eberflus is fine. And let's interview Kliff Kingsbury for OC. That's good enough."

I’m not sure you watched them. They were top 10-15 defense before major injuries to Jarrett, Street, Okudah, etc. the offense is absolutely a QB AND a HC/OC away.

As a Saints fan, I hope McKay stays there forever.

How is he still employed??

Most thorough coaching search in NFL history ends with the hiring of Raheem Morris for Atlanta.

The end result just makes too much sense for this franchise. Why would I expect anything different?

Yes, so tell them to trade for Dak and they’re all set!
