I posted this yesterday and got roasted. Reality is, LSU is not an elite coaching job. If it was, it would generate more interest than it does.

There are potentially elite coaches available who Alleva didn't bother to interview. You will see what a fail this hire was in 5-10 years.

Agreed ...I thought you know, putting the most players in the NFL, playing the SEC and having TS would be a massive draw, but I guess not

Look at les miles resume when we hired him.

Obviously LSU is not thought of as a destination job by anyone worth a frick.

O may not be the answer, but he was better than what Miles became.

O is cheap and will be easy to get rid of if he fails, and no coach available is a lock for success.

The good news is I don't think O would do any worse than miles did after sabans players left. I just don't think he's a championship coach. Oh well....more of the same I guess
