Their brand messages were/are very similar: Bold Leadership, Energy, Great Talent, Changing the Culture, and New Ideas. Also, about 10 years ago Trump lost about $1 billion dollars, and Eaux failed at Ole Miss meaning that both had to re-build their careers. However, I am mystified and disturbed that so many on this board are so willing and eager to give Trump a chance to do his job, but are whining and griping like a bunch of sissies about Eaux. Fact is, we have a real good chance that both of them will be very successful, and need to get behind them.

Coach O only won the popular vote because of illegal voting practices.

Funny.

Most anti-O posters scream he was hired because Louisianians are mostly uneducated and gullible dumbasses.

I agree.

Most anti-O posters are also gung ho Trumpanzees who think Louisiana was smart for going overwhelmingly Trump.

The irony is delicious.

Lets be real, he hasn't even been sworn in yet and he is already breaking promises (lock her up, build a wall, draining the swamp).

I support O and hope he does well. But I expect the same type of broken promises (hell, in week 5 we heard we were gonna be a pro style offense, and now its spread. Then we hinged the hire on his promises of great coordinators)

And Trump has already done more than that liberal puppet did in eight years of office. So yeah I think it will be fine with a good OC.

My comments here is that none of us know for sure whether Trump or O or any other coach would be successful. The point is as Tiger fans, O performed exceedingly well in his interim job - fact is BAMA is better than everybody, and his game calling and team preparation earned him the job. We need to get behind him, and the president-elect so that the Tigers and the country can win. Many of your nega - O's are professional gripers and don't like anything.

Trump will make the US the laughing stock if the world, let's hope O doesn't do the same.

No. No he didn't.

He was okay. He coaches very very tight against Bama and UF. Horrible gameplans both games. And the teams we beat were Crap. Add in the fact that this was the most talented roster we've had since 2011, and he was underwhelming to say the least.
