Any rumors on who will take the Donaldsonville job or have they made a hire?

He had to take it. He was about to get canned at D'ville. No one can stand the prick. This guy thinks he is Saban and would definitely blow him if given the chance. He doesn't care about anyone but himself....PERIOD!

The guy is definitely a low-life and a fraud. All you need to do is ask some Houston area coaches about him. Eventually, it will all catch up with him.

He pulled similar stunts while at Leesville. Karma is all I got to say.

I really hope Atkins gets back the job at DHS. Dude is a stud and had DHS competitive during his time there.

Press conference? Who does this? The last 4 coaches hired there did not get press conferences. They may need to worry about getting students first and then football second. From what I saw watching Baton Rouge area football this year Redemptorist will have a long climb

Central School District breaking away and giving the parents of that area a better free option than Redemtorist had to hurt that school. Catholic is financially is good shape they don't need vouchers. They didn't take any voucher kids but took a much larger than usual number of public school kids. A bunch of them just happened to play football. It never hurts to reach out to those less fortunate.

Thank you Peopleschamp for your information. I have been researching which high school to possibly enroll my dyslexic football player and his younger siblings in next school year. After reading yours and others comments on this board and other boards, I researched the tuition & fees for 2012-2013 school year. As listed on each website, I've calculated the cost for one year for my oldest son ONLY. Tuition and fees would be $8580 for Catholic High School, $7650 for St Michael the Archangel High School, and $10,021 for Redemptorist Schools of Baton Rouge.

Thanks everyone for information. We are new to the area, and my sons will be here for the next school year. We are ecstatic to receive confirmation that Central High School offers dyslexic tutoring, and from what I understand a great educational and football program! I now can buy LSU season tickets with all the money we will be saving on tuition!!!
