Are we going to be back in that "no bidding war" scenario? Will that force us to pick someone that no-one else wants?

Seems like we may have to bite the bullet and compete for a good OC.

You would think we would have more than one option at OC. If not, this is sad.

No because we aren't going to pay an OC what a HC at Houston will make so there is no way to leverage the situation.

I have been saying hire Sarkaisian since our DL coach was giving the job of head coach.

Lol at thinking he'd even consider an OC job over a head coaching job at Houston.

This fricking board.

Kiffin is not interviewing with LSU. He's negotiating with Coach O, big difference.

This is Alleva's OC search. Lots of rumors, intrigue and speculation until he annunces Ensminger is staying since he has good chemistry with O.

On a serious note, I don't think the two jobs are comparable. Don't think we would pay for an OC what Houston would pay for their HC.

hell no. think about it, he's not going to take the OC job until he finds out about the HC job. leverage doesn't enter the picture.

if you need further explanation you are indeed young and naïve.

I don't think the OP needs explanation. I think he's suggesting that Alleva is dumb enough to fall for it.
