Dave Aranda's new contract numbers

Reports are coming out that Aranda's new contract reportedly LSU will pay him between $1.8 to $1.9mil per year. Good for you Coach you have definitely earned your pay raise.

Even though that is a ton of money, he deserves every God damn cent of it. We would have been a much worse team this year without him.

I think he should make $1 more than Ed Orgeron out of principle though.

This again!!!!
No, apparently the hold up that kept Aranda from signing the contract for a week was that he stated if the contract had to be notarized he wasn't signing it. So finally after a week of going back in forth with LSU admin LSU decided to wave the stipulation that the contract had to be notarized and also added that Aranda could sign the contract with disappearing ink!

I hear what you are saying but the scary thought is that might not be true. Apparently, there were only 3 coaches that were real candidates and 2 of the 3 told LSU no, so we might have gotten Orgeron no matter what!!!

Without Aranda we look way worse this year, get blown out by Bama, etc. and Orgeron would not have been in the final 3.

Like I said that is the scary part, you would think that would be the case but knowing that Alleva felt he had a deal with Herman and that didn't materialize and I am assuming he probably felt good about Fisher also it looks as if Alleva didn't do a lot of work on other candidates.
