When Dabo was interim coach at Clemson, would anybody have hired him if Clemson didn't that year?

Did Dabo have a head coaching record of 10-25 at a major program before being interim?

I distinctly remember talking to a guy in his Clemson gear in the Mall of Georgia when Dabo was announced. He acted like the current scorned democratic voters. Distraught and dumbfounded. He was not in favor. Goes to show that we don't always know the results before hand. Dabo has become the best coach in Clemson history (yes, you can argue Danny Ford because of his '81 natty)

Dabo was never a hc before the hc gig at Clemson. He was a wr coach for 2 years before the interim hc then ft hc at Clemson.

Dear sweet baby Jesus, LET IT GO!
Dabo had never BEEN a HC previously. O has, and failed. Clemson was also in a very different position than LSU's program is. Even if all that wasn't true, Dabo is the exception, not the rule. O is the rule.
