Link?
I dont think this is official, however Tulanes beat writer said she thinks it will be him. Unless you've seen something else.

Tammy Nunez has been wrong a lot, but I think she's right.

I think it's a good hire actually. Hate for the saints to lose him.

she also said on tuesday or so that a hire would be made by the end of the day... she's not exactly accurate quite often...

Homerun hire for Tulane. I can't believe they actually landed someone with his resume. He is an outstanding coach and recruiter.

I never can remember if College teams hiring NFL coaches have to follow the same rules NFL teams do when it comes to hiring NFL coaches.

tulane fans think they should have landed Leach or Rod and anything less was failure.

Nah, I wouldnt go that far. I do think this can be a pretty good hire though. He'll bring in the LA talent that we've been missing out on for a while now. The big questions are who the coordinators will be.

Really think Tulane picked the right guy. I promise you Curtis won't take the soft crap that Toledo's teams were known for. Most players won't like him at first because he tells it like it is, but that is what Tulane needs right now. I might even take in a game or two next year.

I think the world of curtis johnson, I just wonder about his resume as it appears he's never been more than a receivers coach although he has been very involved with recruiting. So he should recruit well, has no head coaching experience nor coordinating experience. Obviously the type of staff hires he makes will go a long ways in his success as a head coach IMO.
