I get that logic process, but coaching/job decisions aren't rely logical by nature. I don't see Payton leaving the NFL.
Although, he does look less passionate and fiery this year. Not sure if all the personal stuff is catching up with him or not.

Satire and irony do not go over well with 99% of sports radio listeners.
I like his show because he makes fun of the sports news business. It's obvious he is making a joke about all this.
