LSU lost to Bama heads up. Let the butt hurt flow, little one.

Choupique is correct. Bama gets shite on their schedule annually which is why we need a playoff. 4 games compared to 2 vs top 10 is hardly competitive balance. It's the equivalent of tenn having to play bama and lsu but UGA plays moo at and ole miss. You'd be pissed too. Of course, only if Tennessee was actually relevant.

The SEC schedule rotates. Bama doesn't get favoritism. The Tide played USCe and UF in back to back seasons as our East Division opponents. They rotated off and were replaced. That's how it works. It's neither favoritism nor Bama's fault. What it does appear to be, however, is a source of continual whining for LSU fans. Let it go. No one is "cheating" for Bama.

The SEC schedule rotates

First of all, it only rotates one team thanks to the piss poor permanent opponent. Florida, LSU's opponent, has been BY FAR the best team from the East division since Steve Spurrier was welcomed back home.

Secondly, this year's schedule was made up from scratch. The SEC office said it is a one year schedule only. So the SEC made this schedule last Christmas, and knew exactly what teams were expected to be competitive and what teams were expecting down years. The SEC removed UGA from their scheduled rotation onto the Bama schedule, and replaced them with Missouri. Meanwhile, they saddled LSU with the preseason East favorite in South Carolina.

Thirdly, there is NO WAY to defend the 2013 schedule. Bama once again gets a bad Tennessee, and now they hook them up with Kentucky. Kentucky!!!! Meanwhile, LSU once again will face a top 10 Florida, and now we are matched with Georgia since the SEC skipped their rotation onto the Bama schedule.

It's not a coincidence that Texas A&M, and South Carolina are sitting at home watching while teams that they beat are playing in Atlanta. Both Bama and UGA got absolute cupcake cross divisional opponents.

You're right. That isn't a coincidence. Both A&M and USCe have more conference loses than the teams currently atop their divisions. You have to realize that you're "support" for A&M and for USCe is transparent. You're upset that your team isn't there. We get it. You could have been there had you just beaten Bama in Death Valley on a Saturday night. Despite the schedule, you controlled your own destiny in relation to the West at that point. Stop blaming sec and look at your team's inability to defend the two minute offense. Therein lies your real problem - not with the sec.

South Caroina has gotten screwed by the UGA getting cupcake cross divisionals two years in a row. Last year the Gamecocks went 5-0 in division, but sat at home because they had to play a top 5 Arkansas and UGA dodged all of TE big boys from the West.

This year, if A&M doesn't have to play their first game of the year vs Florida, the Gumps are watching A&M play in Atlanta with the chance to go to Miami.

Teams learn from losses etc.. Your logic on its face seems reasonable but there are intangibles that we forget to factor in sometimes. We don't know how A&M deals with a first loss to LSU or if they even lose to LSU without playing Florida first. Each season is a series of events with highs and lows. What if LSU didn't have to play Florida every fricking season? I'm not belly aching but that game can knock either side out of NC contention every year.
