A obviously but what is the strength of schedule? What conference, how did they do against strictly top 25 teams/ power 5 teams, etc. Those numbers can be very biased.

Oh it's Wisconsin's DC against Aranda right?

yep

I love Aranda but LSU definitely has more talent than Wisconsin on defense...its not even close.

Just wish our fans would quit freaking out over Aranda going to Texas...he isn't a DC god and can be replaced.

ETA: and he isn't going to Texas

So now it's ok to lose Aranda. Man, the standards for O get lower by the day

I'm not necessarily worried that we can't get another good DC. But the backlash of losing another coach to another program, the stunt of development because of another New system, and other reasons would make it very disheartening

The SEC has better offenses as a whole.

The better comparison would be to compare those same stats from last year to those stats from this year. But that wouldn't play into OP's point, so what's the benefit in that?

Better offensive competition plus the fact that these ranks mean they are separated by very few yards and points tells me they probably are about equal. And both are obviously very good, so I don't think either team would be better off they lost their guy.

Yeah cause our AD hit the ball out the park hiring a DL coach right?

Hey dumbass..... we are not saying there is no other D.C. Out there but we are saying our AD is a fricking plug and will screw that up also!

was the Big 10 better this year or last year?

I love Aranda I am just tired of seeing all the whining about if he leaves...for one he has a great job here making 3x the money he made at UW and why would he go to the dumpster fire that is Texas when he probably aspires to be a HC or NFL DC and can get that quicker staying here?

I don't know when it started, I just know it's accurate for this year, based on # of teams above 30 ppg (SEC 8 vs B1G 4), above 400 total ypg (10 vs 4), and above 200 ypg in rushing (8 vs. 4) and passing (8 vs 7).

that is all that matters. I just know year in year out the "experts" always talk about how the sec has weak qb play.

The point of this thread wasn't to dis DA, I love the guy, it was to quell all the chicken littles that think we suck without DA, a coach we had for one season. He will most likely leave in the next few years.
