I ignore Clemson because that whole game was a clusterf*ck of coaching stupidity.

That seems a bit self-serving.

Colin Cowherd knows about football like dgnx6 knows about changing a tire or how to pop her hood.

Good one.

You learn that from your ECU degree?

I doubt it'll happen, but I'm curious if his mystery candidate might be Gary Pinkel. He's quietly done a very good at Mizzou, he's developed 2-star and 3-star recruits into early round draft picks and has proven he can have teams with great offenses and very good defenses. He's also won 10 or more games twice in two difference conferences.

If Cowherd isn't blowing smoke, I think his hint about the hiring coming this weekend is interesting. Perhaps after the SEC title game? Pinkel's also rarely mentioned for jobs so that's why it may be a "Mystery."

Pinkel's from that part of the country and he would provide Michigan some stability.

Not what he said. He said the mystery candidates name will become public this weekend.

So looking at the back half of an SEC schedule rather than an exhibition game is self-serving?

Throw in that game and he is at:

62% completion, 238 ypg, 1 TD and 0.6 INT per game.

That's only 18 yards less than his season average yards/game in 2013.

If you look just at SEC games, he threw for 245 ypg in 2013, so 7 more ypg than his last 5 games in 2012 including that horrible bowl game.

After Brian Griese said it would be deliberate today, I kinda think he is blowing smoke.

This process may take a couple of weeks just like Texas. They want to make sure they get someone good and won't rush into anything. Th program is already so deep in the toilet there is no immediate rush to hire someone.

It was an honest assessment whether I went to LSU, ECU or community college. You're quite the bitch.

Mett was and is a stud. In fact he regressed his first year here under Cam's idiotic tutelage.

You might want to go back and check who was the OC Mett's first year. And second.

Almost had a zinger there.

You assume because we had studs running over through and around people, BECAUSE THEY WERE SIMPLY THAT MUCH BETTER, that somehow it was the result of "Cam".

He certainly did a better job utilizing them than Studs the year before. The cast on offense was EXACTLY the same.

So you are ignoring the last few games of 2012 then, right?

Mett was great in the Bama game. Ok against Ole Miss. Not as good against Arkansas. Not good at all against Clemson in the bowl game. People just remember the Bama game and dismiss or gloss over the rest

If Cowherd thinks it's a big deal it must be Jim Harbaugh. Les Miles--who cares?

I doubt that it's Pinkel but he would be a really good hire. For whatever reason, he doesn't seem to draw a lot of attention but he's a damn good coach IMO.

I hope he stays in the SEC.
