He goes from a position coach to HC just like that. Was he out of coaching fairly recently? Those who think this is a good hire as of now may want to ask themselves if any other "Power 5" school would want to have him as the HC. If so, name the schools.

I'll hang up and listen.

No new talking points.

If you wanted to hang up and listen you could have just read other threads.

It's over man. Alleva screwed up on the search...or lack there of. Nothing we can do now, but hope for the best. At least Aranda is locked down now.

He's not qualified to answer your question though. Just hope for the best is all you can do.

Your way late to the party everyone is leaving. I have nothing left to say on that topic. I suggest you go back and read yesterday's posts for 12 hours.

Probably not.

But then again, no other "power 5" schools would even know what the frick he was saying. But we do.

None of that means he won't be successful at LSU.

Hey, thanks for that response. Of course it doesn't mean he won't, but it does mean no one else would want to find out. LSU will find out.

We've done this topic. He was out of coaching between his USC and LSU stints, Miles was the only one that called him.

He sucked at Ole Miss big time and managed other coaches teams well enough, but all he did was sit there and motivate while the assistant coaches called the plays.

He has never been contacted for other jobs, he wanted the Syracuse job recently and they passed on him.

Alleva, who isn't known for his hires, interviewed Jimbo, Herman, and O. Herman was going to Texas and Jimbo wanted ridiculous money. Alleva went cheap.

Life will go on.

Ponamsky helped boosted O's identity so he got hired on as DL coach. Derek Ponamsky is solely responsible for this shite . Ib4 thread wack Bc I just mentioned Ponamsky.

Wanted fisher or Herman.. But O has done better than anyone in over 30 years maybe more at USC then at Lsu. Dabo was the next best at 4-3. Maybe we have our Cajun dabo. Only time I know of that a position coach turned interim got the job at a major program. So why can't O do it if dabo could ?

Some like the hire some don't. But get your shite together before you start stupid threads. He didn't "go from a position coach to a HC just like that". He has been a HC for a total of about 4 years. Does he have a stellar record as a HC? No. When you grow up and get a job, I bet there will be people laughing at you wondering "How in the hell did they hire this unqualified idiot?" But they will accept you and give you time. After a while they will realize they were right or they will eat those words. So quit being a sniveling little bitch and give the man a chance. Thanks
