I wanted Miles to hire Walker last year when Walker didn't get promoted at UCLA or didn't get another head coaching gig
Les is a year late but he can make up for his dumb mistake of hiring his buddies by getting Walker this go around

Lane will definitely be missed in recruiting but he is clearly not a good D-line coach (at least at LSU). He has WAY too much talent sitting on that line to be playing like they did this year.

Payton will have to make some defensive changes and Coach O is probably a little worried about that - makes sense if he wants to stay in the area.

This was speculated about on Saturday I think, and the thread mysteriously vanished. I hope it's true though.

This sounds like a great scenario, but if this happens and the defense is stout again next year, we will be looking for another DC again next year as Walker will become a head coach somewhere.
