Let’s pump the brakes on Aranda. He’s been there for 2 years and had one winning season and one losing season. Can the dude even recruit? Idk bc he’s not even made it through a full recruiting cycle yet.

I've been a co-captain on the Dave Train since Les Miles was fired. My post history proves it, and I don't edit or erase it.
Riley would be nice, but I've said all along that I didn't think he would actually leave OU, no matter how tempting the offer. Maybe I am wrong, maybe I'm not.
Regardless, I've pushed for Aranda from before Orgeron ever even got the interim gig, and I still stand by it. He would be a fine coach, and LSU would be lucky to have him.
Dave is intelligent, composed, well grounded, highly cerebral, a stickler for detail and has received absolutely nothing but respect and very high praise from all of his peers as well as his former and current players. He's pretty much the exact opposite of the last two clown show coaches LSU has had, and I'd figure the board would be happy about that.
