UCLA head coach Chip Kelly is a potential candidate for #Commanders OC under new head coach Dan Quinn, per sources. Kelly, a two-time NFL head coach, is believed to have interest in returning to the league and Washington will consider talking with him.

I think you're going to see more college coaches going to NFL than before. Coaches want to coach. No re recruit and rebuild a college roster every year.

Maybe but it should be noted that Hafley and Kelly both had/have pretty tenuous job security.

Kelly would probably take a third of the pay to get back to just coaching

I’m not sure what he has done to deserve consideration though

Rebuilding the mess Mora left for him at UCLA was pretty impressive. Kelly’s tenure started off rough, but he’s won at least 8 games the last three years. Not bad for being USC’s little stepbrother.

Even being somewhat formidable at UCLA is an achievement. The only thing you have to sell is Los Angeles, and it's not even the good job in LA. Regardless, LSU rolls over them in the fall.
