Coordinators don’t make their own hires. Where did you get that from? Most of LSU’s current staff was hired before House.

3rd option, administration plants it here to see the reaction.

Well there you go Blake it's our next defensive coordinator Blake's agent is misdirecting, Kelly really wanted to keep Blake on staff last year but with house coaching linebackers Blake was the odd man out. Now Kelly has witnessed what he did at Missouri and proved he can run an SEC defense. Kelly hate it to let him go last time because of his recruiting and coaching on the field. With Blake at DC Chevis at cornerback coach and that DL coach they plan on bringing in would bring defensive recruiting to match the offensive side. Kelly realizes your defensive coordinator has to recruit in the SEC I promise he will make a change

Baker played at Tulane and wife is from Mandeville. He would be dumb to stay at Missouri if we offer him the DC spot. Doubt we offer him imo

Clark is a big part of the reason most of us don't want Corey Raymond back.

He was pretty good his two years at marshall, top 40 in yards per pass attempt allowed.
Kansas was horrendous while he was there. So who knows.
I wouldnt get mad about hiring him, but i wouldnt be ecstatic either

I like Chevis and I don't want to shite on a former player. But Chevis was fired from Kansas two years ago and Marshall's SoS this year was #83. The pass Defense was mid-50's. He may be an improvement over what we have, but if he wasn't a former Tiger everyone here would be PISSED about hiring him (if that happens).

Saraland, St Paul’s, UMS, Spanish Fort, Mobile Christian, Vigor, Daphne, Theodore, etc would all become very very open to LSU for DBs and recruits if he was hired. That’s a big deal
