He's expressed interest in the Maryland job. Of course, there the Under Armour people are trying to build the program like Nike at Oregon.

He's shown he can take over a disaster at Penn State and steady the ship. And he can obviously develop quarterbacks. Like Saban, he has Belichick roots.

I think it would be a solid hire.

Maybe, but he has Houston headed for a potential playoff birth. He's not available until at minimum, the first week of January. Assuming he makes the playoffs then that time frame stretches further into Jan. LSU would likely lose a large chunk of recruits while waiting for their coach.

Would be a great hire, but he's not getting fired and the Texans are tied for first in the division, which means a playoff berth if they win, are tied for the 2nd WC spot and playing much better, so I really don't see him leaving.

That's certainly true. He benefits from a weak division. And Maryland is willing to wait until May for him, probably.

the only reason I'd like this is because my wife knows him from his days at Brown. (no pics) I'd be pushing for some comp suite passes.

first time I've heard his name. I think he would be great at lsu. The reason being is that he is supposedly a qb guru and that seems to be the part lacking at lsu over the past 10 years. He should be the target

BO'B is hot right now, won 4 of 5, and similarly to last year, figured it out post bye week and looked very well coached down the stretch playing strong D with a scrub QB. The wheels could come off, but I just don't see him leaving a pro gig for anything else

He is not interested in Maryland. It's the other way around

OB will not get fired after only 2 seasons with the Texans.
