Oh come on, Cardale Jones was playing his second game. Being able to pick up just like that with the third stringer is an accomplishment.

Had nothing to do with Meyer or that ungodly amount of first rounders Meyer and staff assembled, and did it with their 3rd string Qb

There's just no reason a good coach with LSU's recruiting base can't win 1 out of every 3 when Freeze has done better.

Well, Miles was 5-7 (5 of 12) Vs Bama, better than 1 of 3. But all 7 losses were to the current Bama Coach so he's less than 1 of 3 against Saban after 5 straight losses. In fact, the current Bama coach is one of two LSU coaches with a winning record against Bama @ 4-1. Arnsbarger was undefeated vs Bama @ 2-0-1 (One tie) Total margin of victory in all games was 6 points.

He's 2-3 vs Bama. After 5 years Les was 3-2. First 5 years of Saban Les was 3-2. All of Les's Bama losses were to Saban. Personally, I don't love Freeze as a potential hire.

42-35, yep. That was an asskicking.

They had 537 offensive yards... Herman kicked their defense's arse. 256 passing, 281 rushing.

I believe Chip Kelly could do it. His system with LSU athletes would be frightening.

You wont ever "consistently" beat Bama

get your head out of the clouds millenial.
Not unless we lose 30 schollies over the next 3 years and you have the greatest of all time coaching.

requiring a record number of turnovers from Bama in one of those wins.

then again, Bama needed a punt return and 2 fumble return TDs to beat Ole Miss this year.

Exactly! It's like tunnel vision folks wanting to take down the king when you've been struggling to take down the knights, bishops of the league.

Exactly, he won't leave FSU and frankly I would rather someone like Tom Herman.
