Pease's record as an OC:

2001-02 - Kentucky - 9-14
2003-05 - Baylor - 11-23
2011 - Boise State - 12-1

Gosh, he finally "proves" successful under Chris Petersen (who, of course, runs his own damned offense and was successful before Pease got there).

Can't the same be said for all three?

Well, I think for Nussmeier at least, the HC called the plays. I may be completely wrong here, so please correct me if I'm wrong, but I do think I remember hearing that. Regardless, doing what they did with Washington's offense after losing their QB was a damn good job. He should end up being a good one.

I mean, it's true that Steve Sarkisian called the plays on gamedays, but Doug Nussmeier does have experience being a full-fledged playcaller while at Fresno State. Regardless, he was the one working with QBs full-time at Washington. What he did with Keith Price in 2011 was very outstanding. I think A.J. McCarron will be a NFL talent under his tutelage.

Paul Petrino was by far the best OC hire.

Because he proved what he could do, without Bobby, at Illinois.

All of the hires are average, until proven otherwise.

I would look at his QB developing ability.
