USC just hired him as our D Line coach. I believe he was a D tackle coach for y'all, correct?

Heard he is a good guy, but not a great recruiter. Thoughts?

He was a pretty good recruiter at Bama

Good to see him land in his feet so quickly, he had a whole lot of success coaching guys like Mt Cody, Lorenzo Washington

More of a strength coach when he was at LSU
Good, solid hire.

He learned under Pete Jenkins, that was probably the connection that got him to USC west

Dat means Orgeron is waiting for Les to hire him so he can coach and watch his son play football at Mandeville HS.

Gary Crowton and Malleveto join them in laughter while buying a round and singing together.

He was an assistant strength coach at LSU & Saban took him with him to the Fins; as best I recall, this was his first actual coaching position. Since then he's bounced around a bit but that is not necessarily a knock. For what it's worth, a good guy & his wife has a good position with AT&T, so he has a solid family background as well. One of LSU's strongest players back then.

Guy that flipped torshiro davis by telling him there was a north vs south louisiana split in the locker room.

He was a solid DL coach. Particularly for our NGs and combo DTs. Haven't been the same since he left. He was subpar coaching our DEs.

I think he was a very solid recruiter. He had lots of contacts in Mississippi. We haven't had success there since he left. He also helped us get our foot in the door in Houston (where he was a prep coach).
