...Petersen would ever leave UW for Texas, LSU, etc. Scott Woodward (an LSU and BR Catholic HS grad) hired him at UW so he might have some insight.
The sports radio guys up here in Seattle said they heard when the UW job came open Petersen had his lawyer make the initial contact because he wanted to come to the UW. Is this true?

I don't see any reason why Petersen would leave UW for "that cesspool"

Seems that way. I wouldvmnt be very worried. Doesn't seem like a guy to jump around.

He passed up a lot of big jobs while at Boise, now he's on a big time level while being a comfortable level with where he's at
I don't think he's interested in the big lights, so to speak. He wants to build a program where he's comfortable, not where his bread is buttered the most and the pressure is always extremely high.

I think Peterson is a Northwest guy. I also think he has a very sick child and the medical facilities in Seattle was part of the draw for him to UW. IIRC.
